Carson Pegasus Provincial Park is located approximately 200 Km North West of Edmonton Alberta, Canada. The Campground located within the park has almost 200 sites with walk in tenting as well and is situated on the scenic Lake McLeod. There is also Little McLeod Lake which is paddle friendly. The sites are beautifully treed with spaces between them and some sites even offer power. Carson Pegasus is situated along the foothills and within the boreal forest so it is such a beautiful and peaceful place to camp. The Royal Alberta Museum is Located in Edmonton's downtown corridor right by the ICE DISTRICT and Rogers Place home of the Edmonton Oilers. Note that the only parking on site is mobility issues only; however there is plenty of parking close by for a low cost. Miquelon Lake Provincial Park | Hike Alberta
Miquelon Lake Provincial Park is located approximately 60 km East of Edmonton Alberta and features 20 km of hiking trails. 3.7 km are paved trails around the campground and shoreline. The rest of the park is considered backcountry trails consisting of dirt grass and some low lying muddy sections. The park has a full service campground, day use area with playground and a small shallow lake. Note that the lake is not swimmable and only allows for paddle friendly watercraft. Fultonvale Elementary School | Playground
This epic playground with Super Slides is located at 52029 Range Rd 224, Sherwood Park, AB. The school has the super slide playground and some other playground equipment making this great for all ages. Around the corner on the east side of the school is another playground with more climbing equipment, A few swings and smaller slides. This would be a great little park to play the floor is lava with the older ones! Both parks have sand bottoms but the park with the Big slides also has a rubber bottom section as well with a few swings and a few spinners....
Fort Edmonton Park | Explore YEG
Fort Edmonton was established by the Hudson's Bay Company on the banks of the North Saskatchewan River in 1795. By 1821 The Hudson's Bay Company and the North West Trading Company Joined and the Fort Flourished until the late 1860's. The Fort's decline was a result of the Hudson's Bay Company surrendering Rupart's Land. Unfortunately the Fort was dismantled in 1915 however today you can visit the complete reconstructed fort and take a ride on an old 1919 Baldwin Steam Locomotive Train around the Park.
