Edmonton Corn Maze
If you are looking for a fun fall activity why not check out your local corn maze. The Edmonton Corn maze is fun for all ages and has something different to offer from August until the end of October. Almost every year we try and check out a local farm or maze in the fall. We like to get in the spirit of harvest season and of course all things pumpkin. So what better way to enjoy a nice autumn day!
August the corn is still green and has reached a maximum height the sunflowers are in full bloom, this is a great time to visit to beat the crowds and to end the summer season. In September the Corn starts to die off as we get our first frosts and the Pumpkin Harvest begins. October the crowds are high the maze has tuned to a golden brown and there may be a dew extra pathways but it is a fantastic fall activity and beautiful pictures! The maze also has a Halloween event that runs in late October.
They have cute little picture spots located throughout the facility for your Instagram posts and memories. They also have yard games located throughout the grounds, two big jumping pillows, sand box, tractor train rides, Goats, pigs and so much more. You can even buy animal feed for 24 cents to feed the goats which absolutely love it and come running every time! They have a potato gun for an extra charge but it is a blast so give it a try.
The Corn maze does have a marketplace to buy snacks and local handmade products that is worth it to check out. If you go in late September and into October you can purchase pumpkins from the marketplace and pumpkin patch area. There are outhouses located on site as well as picnic tables to enjoy some shade under a tree or a snack.
We have attended the Edmonton Corn Maze several years and have always had a blast as it gives off a different feel depending on when you visit. We have never been in August for the Sunflowers so maybe that will be next year.
