The Colour Spectrum Edmonton
The Colour Spectrum Edmonton is YEG's 1st Sensory All Inclusive Children's Art Studio! What a fantastic place to take your little ones and the best part of all is you leave the mess behind. Well okay you may have paint on you and your cloths and a little sand between the toes but that's okay with us. The Colour Spectrum YEG welcomes children of all abilities to come play and discover through art and creativity.
Art is one of the best ways for neuro-divergent Children to teach and learn how to express themselves without limitations. Remember Art can come in several forms, from dance, to painting, crafts, even sports in my opinion are a form of art.
The Colour Spectrum lets you gets messy and paint on the walls, after wash up and play in the sand pit or enjoy the calm down room upstairs away from it all. They even have a few sensory tables set up throughout the facility with dirt, water, beans, rice and all sorts of surprises to explore and discover! They do switch out the contents in the bins so they may not always be the same every time you go. When we visited they had Fall, Halloween and even a Summer Dirt Bin.
The Colour Spectrum is located on the South Side of Edmonton just off 23rd and Saddleback road and we highly recommend it. We went during the week and it was quiet but perfect for us. They also do children's birthday parties which would be a fantastic way to celebrate your little ones special day.
