Magic of Lights | Rad Torque Raceway | Drive Thru Lights YEG

We have been to the Magic of Lights before and it has always been a fantastic display of Christmas lights. If you are looking for something festive to do and its cold outside then check out the Magic of Lights! Drive this 2.5km drive thru this beautiful light display all from the comfort of your own vehicle.

We recommend purchasing your ticket online as it creates less hassle at the gates and a smooth process. You can purchase a regular flex pass for 1 car up to 8 people or you can purchase a Dash pass to the front of the line. Depends on when you go it may be smart to purchase the Dash Pass. They also have Special Event night where they are closed to the Public so check the Calendar on the website. You can also choose to go on a night and meet Santa!

We went on a Thursday right at 5 pm when they opened and there were only few cars in line. In previous years we have waited an hour. However on Peek Weekends I have heard of guests waiting a few hours to make it through the line. There is a concession part way thru the line where you can purchase hot chocolate other beverages and snacks.

Once at the check in booth show them your QR Code and your good to go. Make sure your windows are clean, tune into their Christmas Radio Station and enjoy the drive. Remember to respect the people in front of you. The speed limit is 5 km\hr and should take about half hour to complete the drive.
