Clear Lake Park | Barrhead County, Alberta

Clear Lake Park is located in Barrhead County, Alberta about an hour and half drive North West from Edmonton. This beautiful Lake, Campground and Day Use Area is a Gem that we almost don't want to tell anyone. The lake is Clear and covered with water lilies around the shores is has a beautiful beach with a swim area and a playground for kids. Baseball, Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer areas.
The Campground is situated within the trees and has 74 sites all have picnic tables and fire pits. Clean Outhouses located throughout the campground and potable water as well. You will also find fish cleaning stations and a boat launch. This is a dry campground so no hookups but a dumping station for sani is located at the entrance/exit to the campground.
Clear Lake Park has a large Playground located just off the beach with several clibing structures, swings and slides. All around a great park for all ages. There are also tire swings located beside the beach and more tire swing sets located in the campground.
We didn't get to fish this time around but we did take our little ones out in our canoe for a beautiful morning paddle. The lake was calm, the sound of loons and even a beaver on the North side. We never paddled the whole lake but probably half. We would like to find more information on the depths of this lake and types of fish. The waterfowl and fauna seemed to be thriving!
