Hard Luck Canyon is a must see if you are in the Whitecourt area. Hard Luck Canyon is a waterfall fed by a beaver pond when it overflows so it is best to view in spring or after a lot of rain. The Waterfall falls from the cliff side under the bridge and into the Canyon to meet Hard Luck Creek. The Royal Alberta Museum is Located in Edmonton's downtown corridor right by the ICE DISTRICT and Rogers Place home of the Edmonton Oilers. Note that the only parking on site is mobility issues only; however there is plenty of parking close by for a low cost. Fort Edmonton was established by the Hudson's Bay Company on the banks of the North Saskatchewan River in 1795. By 1821 The Hudson's Bay Company and the North West Trading Company Joined and the Fort Flourished until the late 1860's. The Fort's decline was a result of the Hudson's Bay Company surrendering Rupart's Land.
