Today we braved the cold weather in Alberta  plus a snow storm and headed South to Big Valley Alberta to check out the historic Round house and turn table, workshop, grain elevator and St. Edmunds Church. AllStones Lake, Hiking -

All Stones Lake is located in the Bighorn Backcountry just off the David Thompson Highway (Hwy 11) along Abraham Lake in Alberta, Canada. Park just to the east of the highway in the parking lot beside the lake. We would rate this as a Hard hike due to the steepness and elevation gain. The weekend we spent at Siffleur Falls Wilderness area will always hold a special place in our hearts as we were expecting a little baby girl at the end of summer. However I tell you this place will not disappoint, even if you just decide to do the first 4 km to the falls and lookout. You can feel the cooler weather upon us as we start to notice the leaves change from green to bright gold, yellow and red. The sun sets early this time of year and you know winter is right around the corner when we get that cool North Wind. This time of year is busy cleaning up the yard for winter and of course the Garden harvest.
